How our service works
Modular School Buildings does not manufacture, hire or install buildings. We are a small, free service that helps schools, academy trusts, councils and nurseries find a modular building supplier who covers their area, and this page sets out exactly what happens when you ask.

We look for a supplier
One working in your region who builds or hires the kind of building you described, for schools.
We tell you who it is
Usually within one working day, by email or phone. Your details go to them only once you say so.
Survey and written price
The supplier visits, checks the site and prices it in writing. Placing an order is your choice, and the contract is yours with them.
What we are
A small introduction service. We hold no stock, run no hire fleet and employ no installers, and no business with a name close to ours is connected to us.
What we do not do
- Charge schools or trusts anything, at any stage.
- Share your details before you agree, or with more than the one supplier we name.
- Give prices for your site. Only a supplier can, after a survey.
- Run tenders, act as your project manager or advise on procurement law.
- Send you newsletters or marketing.
Who pays for it
A supplier we introduce may pay us an introduction fee. Schools pay us nothing, whether or not they place an order.
Our figures and guides
Prices on this site come from suppliers' published price pages, public contract notices and published cost benchmarks, and each page names its sources and the date we read them. They are there for budgets, business cases and bids; only a supplier's written quote is a price. Planning, funding and procurement notes are general guidance, not legal or procurement advice.
